Country music has always been a popular Genre of music. Some of the biggest names in music have been under the country music genre. However, it was once only a big genre of music in America. Globally, it hadn’t had its rise of popularity until only recently. Country artists are touring all over the world now, as their music reaches a much wider audience in todays day in age. So why is the country music scene growing globally?

The Social Scene
The social scene of country music has grown globally on all social media platforms. More and more country music gets played on apps like TikTok, Instagram, Spotify and more. People are starting to enjoy the entertainment side and use the songs to dance in country like ways. This is boosting country artists all over the world. The tracks are becoming so big that festivals in other countries are trying to embody the country festivals that once ran throughout the US.

It’s Fun
With that being said, i beleive that piggy backs into this next one. Country music is widely known to include beer, dancing, and western get ups. This culture is relatable and has been fueling people to get involved. There are younger and more diverse people in their audiences who are hearing their tracks all over the place. The younger audiences are drawn to music like this because it’s what they can relate to in their personal lives of wanting to enjoy their younger years.

The Crossover
Country music wasn’t widely crossed over and collabed as much as it is now. Artists in many genres hop into the country scene and collaborate with country artists, bringing in fans of all different genres of music. Post Malone is a good example of this. He wasn’t a country artist for many years, and rose to fame through his pop like genre of music. After crossing over, he brought eyes that were on him for different reasons over to the country music scene. More and more eyes are landing on country music due to artists being more open to collaboration with country artists.
