These artists are solo artists and this list is based on how well they did in 2021 and the growth they had in 2021. First artist we have that I think is going to be stellar next year, is Daniyel. He had an incredible year last year and has gotten to work with one of the best young directors in the game right now, Cole Bennett. He also has had a video featured on World Star Hip-Hop which is pretty huge. He is always dropping music it seems whether it’s on Soundcloud or Spotify or YouTube. He’s for sure someone you should follow and make sure you don’t miss any drops by him because he is always putting his soul and heart into his music. Number 2 we have is Masonn Deforest, a young R&B artist whose had back to back impressive years of dropping music and growth so it’s impossible for me to think that he takes a step back or somehow mysteriously gets worse because he has been killing it. He’s one of my favorite artists to come out of the 541 and has such a wonderful voice. His beat selection and silky smooth tone and delivery makes it so that you are just interested and wanting to go back to listen to him each time. I could see him being much bigger in 2022. Number 3 on this list we have Joey Mac who has been an absolute legend this year and has been just so consistent with his releases and his music. He has steadily improved with each release and each passing day and also is still so young like most of the artists on this list. Number 4 on this list is Headass U. Dude is a beast every year and drops consistently and is always growing and getting better. That’s what makes a great artist, is that drive and constant pressure and effort and you have to follow this man because his drops are good to. He’s not dropping music to drop he’s doing it because it’s very high quality music that is meant for the people.
