Bowl Peace Interview

Bowl Peace is a band out of Eugene, Oregon. They have been turning heads and selling out shows around town, as they grow their fan base all over the place. There witty personality and respect for their fans has contributed to their growing success. I caught up with the band, and asked them some questions about their music and relationships with each other.

Bowl Peace consists of four band members who attended the University of Oregon together. They met each other through living together, and all had the dream of starting a band so they can show their musical creativity.

“We all made music in our own ways, and figured coming together to start a band would allow for all of us to have an outlet doing what we love,” says their lead singer Elise Benton.

Their passion for music has helped their friendships with each other grow over the years. Four years later, they now have a growing fan base on all social media platforms. Many around the area come to their shows to see the up incoming band in person.

Seeing all the support we’ve gotten is crazy. We never thought we’d get to a point of selling out shows and booking many events,” says guitarist Owen Akiyama

Bowl Peace will continue to grow, and their music discography will grow as well. The future looks interesting for Bowl Peace, as they have many options as to what they’d like to do next.

“The future of Bowl Peace is unclear, but we do know that this is what we love, and we are gonna work as hard as possible to make our dreams of touring the world come true.”

Bowl Peace has a bright future, and I’m sure we’re all excited to see where they go.
