McKenzie River Lavender Festival

In July, Oregon has the Lavender festival, which happens in Newberg, Roseburg, and out by the McKenzie river! Since I’m closer to the McKenzie one, my girlfriend and I went to try it out and see if it was a vibe. We pulled up and gave the troop scouts 5$ to park and went and walked around! Theirs about a dozen plus vendors, live music, food, and you’re right by the river! We did the U-Pick lavender and got a bouquet for 7$, then we got some lavender short bread cookies, some lavender milk tea, and a lavender Italian soda. All of them were good but the milk tea and cookies were sooooo good! They were very cheap too which was super nice and so refreshing!! It’s right by the river so you can go sit in lawn chairs and sun bathe or watch the river! Everyone there was super nice and friendly, very talkative too! I’d highly suggest going with your family and friends and spending a few hours there exploring and trying new things. It smells so good too and I had to get some lavender soap because it seemed like everyone had used it or was buying it/suggesting it!! It’s from July 7-9th so enjoy it while it lasts. I might go back because I already ate all the cookies they were so good! Let us know if you go and what you thought of it!
