‘Sabrina Ionescu’ is the 2k24 Cover Athlete

Making the cover of any sports video game means you’re one of the best at what you do, and Sabrina Ionescu is just that. Former Oregon Duck ‘Sabrina Ionescu’ has made the cover of the new 2k series NBA video game. She is the cover athlete for the WNBA edition. It is quite rare to see a women make the cover as well, and having Sabrina as the cover athlete shows how good she is on the court as a professional. From Oregon to New York, people had an idea of how good Sabrina was going to be.

Sabrina Ionescu was the first player in NCAA history (women and men) to pass 2,000 career points, and averaged 14.9 points a season last year. She also crashes the boards well, as she is the only NCAA athlete to also pass 1,000 rebounds in her career. To say this is well deserved is an understatement, and Oregon fans must be happy for the Queen of Oregon Women’s Basketball.
