Why You Should Visit Oceanside, Oregon

Oceanside, Oregon is a place full of wonderful people, sandy beaches, tide pools, sea lions, amazing food, and immaculate sights to see. You can go down to the beach and spend days upon days exploring the rocks and tide pools that are there. Walk the beaches early in the morning and see all of the rock collectors and sea shell collectors looking for sand dollars, agates, and more. Respect the wildlife and watch as you see seagulls fly above you, crabs walk along the rocks, starfish stuck to the rocks as the waves slowly go in and out. Oceanside is also so close to Tillamook and you can bring your family and friends to explore the city with you. Go to the cheese factory and see how Oregons most famous cheese is made. Stay for the gift shop, ice cream, and cheese sampling (which needs to be brought back to how it was before the COVID pandemic badly). At Tillamook you’ll find amazing food places such as the Dutch Mill Diner and Chinese Garden. Two of the best places along the entire coast right near Oceanside and in Tillamook! Make sure to bring binoculars so you don’t miss out on seeing any whales or sea lions!! If you look out to the rocks in the distant, you can see sea lions relaxing and sun bathing and tons of different types of birds nesting on the rocks. If you get bored of the beach, head into the forest and check out the Octopus Tree where you can take a small hike to see an amazing tree!! With so much to do, you’ll have to come back over and over. Oceanside, Oregon is a great place and if you take care of it, it’ll take care of you!
