The Rise of PNW Festivals

The Northwest isn’t quite Vegas or Miami, but ever since covid restrictions were lifted. they have been throwing their hat into the competition. The beautiful Pacific Northwest is home to now many music festivals. Ranging from Oregon to Washington and all around the area, the music scene is taking a big lift and are receiving good attention from it. Names such as Keith Urban, Lil Yachty, Leon Bridges, and more are taking the festival stage this summer.

Festivals such as Watershed, Day In Day Out, Oregon Jamboree, Thing Fest, and others are lighting up the stages all through the summer. From Household names, to big up in coming artists, they will most likely continue to grow. The genre list is also in existent, as country, pop, EDM, and more sweep the Northwest. As we exit festival season, the quanitity will drop, but the excitement won’t. True fan bases are formed every year, and will only get bigger. Festivals are selling more and more tickets since covid is no longer an event killer.

The community grows more and more, with the lineups and venues continuing to progress. Though typically not seen as mainstream, the Pacific Northwest could make a run to show just how improved and loved the music life is becoming in one of the most beautiful areas in the world.
