Freddie Gibbs brings out Eugene artist M5

Rapper Freddie Gibbs’ tour passed through Eugene, allowing for a fun show at the McDonald Theatre. In doing so, he also brought out Eugene artist M5, who’s been a local artist favorite to some.

M5 opened for Freddie Gibbs, and made a splash in his opening set. Bringing out multiple friends and fellow artists, his show had countless surprises from beginning to end. Some may even think he had a better set than Freddie Gibbs, ultimately putting his name out there. Freddie Gibbs’ show had everything, with a great opening act, to a great set by Freddie Gibbs himself.

Eugene venues have had Eugene artists open for headliners before. It’s nice to see a great one in M5 get a nice opening set to a big artist.
